Go backward to 2.2 Bottom toolbar.
Go up to 2 Getting started.
Go forward to 2.4 Loading the extra-focal images.
2.3 Choosing an optical configuration.
Before you start reducing images you should load the appropriate optical
configuration into the program. This can be achieved in several different
ways. The conf button on the bottom tool bar
brings up a dialog box which enables you to select a pre-defined
configuration.
A single mouse click will select a configuration.
For the example images, you should select the configuration sim:512.
The selected configuration is displayed in the combo-box, second from
the right in the main menu bar. An alternative way to select a
configuration is to press the left mouse button in this combo-box
and select an entry from the resulting menu.
When reducing your own data, if your optical/program configuration is not
pre-defined you will have to create one using the
Edit :: Telescope parameters and
Edit :: Algorithm parameters
dialog boxes
.
Once you have defined a configuration for your telescope, you name and
save it by using the File :: Save reduction configuration
dialog.
