5 Common problems with wavefront reduction.

As with any complex data reduction software, there are potential problems that can arise during its use and several pitfalls awaiting the unwary. The accuracy of retrieved wavefronts is ultimately dependent on the quality of the extrafocal imaged that you provide. Some common potential problems are are mentioned in the chapter on optical configuration , and we recommend that you read this chapter before taking data. In the following section we present a trouble shooting guide to help you diagnose problems.
  • 5.1 Problems affecting the the reconstructed wavefront.
  • 5.2 Problems with the program.
