This appendix describes the program installation procedure for various operation systems. The program consists of binary executable, and text script files. The setup program takes care of installing these files.
Please look at the section which describes installation on your chosen operating system. The program is supplied dynamically linked. By default the most critical of the required dynamic link libraries are included and installed with the distribution. You may remove these libraries and use the system libraries as you see fit. However the program may then be vulnerable if the system libraries are upgraded changed.
Documentation is supplied as DVI, postscript and HTML files. There are three postscript files, doc.ps doc_even.ps and doc_odd.ps. The first file contains the complete documentation. The second two postscript files contain even and odd pages respectively, these files can be used to produce double sided output using single side printers. For on-line documentation you may use a WEB browser to open the file "doc.html". For beta or demo copies of this software you must print you own copy on the manual from the supplied postscript files if you need a paper version of the manual.
