1.3 Hardware/Software Requirements
At present we are only able to support the program under
Sun-OS (TM)
Solaris (TM)
or Linux (ELF).
Please contact us if you require the program under any other
operating system.
Note that the Linux version was compiled under Redhat Linux 4.2 using
libc.so.5.3.12. There is some chance that the progam will
not run with newer versions of libc.
The GUI version of the program will at present work under "X Windows"
as long as the display hardware can provide an 8 bit pseudo colour or
pseudo-gray-scale mode, or a 1,4,8,16,24, or 32 bit true colour display.
