To whom it may concern Regarding the observations of 2014RC. These images were taken from Mt John University Observatory with the 24" Boller and Chivens telescope and Apogee alta U camera using an I band filter on a night with a little bit of cloud. I didn't see any clouds near the target when I checked but I can not be certain that all images are all clear of cloud. Sometimes the pointing is off or I was too late jumping to the next pointing position and the target is not seen. I tried to get a longer exposure for each field so that several stars could be seen and used to get the astrometric data if needed. The target was moving quickly so I didn't always get a longer exposure. As the target trail became longer I stopped observing. At first I was able to use 5 second exposures and I estimated the trail to be small enough to get an aperature around it without too much sky. As the trail became longer I reduced the exposure times. At the end there are a few 2 second exposures but at that speed the shutter open/close time may start to become a factor for accurate photometry.I had a few software crashes for the camera server which destroyed some images. I have included the unprocessed raw image data and the darks and flats. I have also included one processed flat field but not any other processed images as I am aware that people use different methods for image processing. The plate scale on the camera is about 0.33"/pixel. If you need further information please feel free to contact me pjt61@uclive.ac.nz or tristram.p@gmail.com. I hope these images can be of use.
