The seven stars in the field of Ruprecht 118 observed by Moffat & Vogt appear in SIMBAD mostly with approximate coordinates, though the photometry is complete. Precise positions are shown below. The Cordoba identifications given by M&V are correct, but in addition star 4 can be identified as a CPD star. The center for the group as given in Lynga/WEBDA/SIMBAD is a bit off and should be corrected as given below.
