The list below contains precise coordinates, UBV photometry, and spectral types from a study of Cygnus OB2 by Massey and Thompson (1991AJ....101.1408M, MT91 hereafter). The file represents a conflation of Tables 2, 5, and 6 from the paper. Jean-Claude Mermilliod kindly informed me that a copy of Table 1 from the paper was available from him. I copied this file and have used it in the subsequent work. That the results were produced so easily is due in no small part to having this file ready to use. The star positions are shown only by x,y coordinates in the source paper. I thus identified about 50 stars scattered across the four Massey & Thompson CCD fields to use as an astrometric reference net, and obtained coordinates for these from the ACT or GSC v1.2, plus a few faint stars from USNO-A1.0. Since the region lies near the center of the relevant POSS-I plate, the A1.0 positions should have relatively small internal and systematic errors. I then applied a routine we already have here to convert files of x,y coordinates to RA/Dec based on a given reference net. A quadratic solution yielded rms residuals of 0".6 total for the 53 reference stars. The J2000 positions for the 799 MT stars (plus two additional Schulte stars observed by them) are given below to 0s.01/0".1 precision. The UBV data columns have been left as they were in the Mermilliod file, _except_ I have added back in the flags for uncertainty given in the original. A colon (:) indicates a uncertainty greater than 2-sigma in the relevant magnitude range, and a question mark (?) indicates an error greater than 3-sigma (these were given as a double colon in the source paper). Nearly all these apply to either faint or crowded stars; it is clear that many of the flagged U-B colors for the faint stars are unphysical. Table 3 in MT91 shows that stars fainter than V mag. 15.5-16.0 have relatively large errors in all colors in any case. N.B.: in the original Table 1 the U-B column comes before the B-V column; I have switched the order below to conform to common usage. From Tables 5 and 6 of MT91 I have added a column of MK spectral types determined by Massey & Thompson. I have ignored the types from other sources cited in these tables. The list below thus provides only the new UBV data and new types given in the source paper. The remarks column shows those stars that were blended ('bl') in Massey & Thompson's analysis, and 'traditional' Schulte numbers indicated in the MT91 tables (e.g. S 12). Finally, the first two stars in the list were outside the MT91 survey area, but new spectral types for them were given in Table 6.
