The list of K- and M-type dwarf stars reported by Stephenson and Sanduleak (1975AJ.....80..972S) is not well-integrated into SIMBAD. Only 32 of the 100 stars are linked in the database. As is common for the large-motion stars, there are the usual rough coordinates and multiple entries in SIMBAD. I had expected that all these stars would appear in the later hemispheric survey (1986AJ.....92..139S, the 'StKM' stars), but in fact only one does (the first entry below). I began by keying-in the equinox 1900 positions provided by S&S, and ran these into VizieR to get precise positions at epoch and equinox J2000. I was successful here with the exception of one star, where the position is from 2MASS (at epoch 2000.5---close enough). Nearly all the coordinates are from UCAC2 or Tycho-2. Doubles and various special cases were solved one by one. I have replaced the S&S magnitude estimates with Tycho-2 V, adjusted approximately to Johnson V. Since many of the stars are not present in SIMBAD, I have added basic names from the GSC (every star), Tycho-2 (all but a few), as well as CD, CPD, HD names as available, plus names from other sources already in SIMBAD (BPM, Luyten, etc). I default to GSC numbers only when there seems to be no other legit name. Finally the S&S spectral types (which is what I was after here!) are copied. Close pairs, mostly of common proper motion, are described in the remarks and notes at the bottom of the table. I omit the Tycho-2 number if the spectral type clearly applies to the combined light of a pair that is resolved in Tycho-2. In case it is decided to give new names to the stars specific to this paper (SSKM ?), I preserve the original coordinates in the first column for reference (the stars are not otherwise numbered in the paper). The stars are in the same order as Table 1 of the paper. This whole mess is collected in a wide 124-column table below. In several cases the traditional IDs from CD, HD etc seem to be in error, and I give comments for each instance. On the other hand, many "new" HD/CD/CPD names are added over what is given by S&S. Also it was clear that several stars are giants, not dwarfs, perhaps more than I have flagged. Among the diagnostics here are U-B versus B-V colors, 2MASS J-K, and when targeted by Hipparcos, near-zero motion _and_ insignificant parallax.
