Problem:This star streaking phenomemon occurs only with the new chip 1 of the BTC. When the sky level is so high that it approaches the saturation limit of the detector, some charge transfer problem seems to set in. |
Fix:No fix possible, except for reducing the sky level (e.g., by reducing the exposure time). |
