LMC Priorities | SMC Priorities

Spectroscopic Candidates

Known LMC WRs | Known SMC WRs

Priority. A priority has been listed next to each candidate. Priorities are based upon the sigma value. Priority 1s are likely WRs. Priority 2s are possible WRs and Priority 3s are unlikely WRs (but likely Of stars). Priority 4s are unlikely WRs (and mostly unlikely Of stars).

Coordinates. For finder charts, please downloaded zip file. In the finder charts, the box is 1.5' x 1.5'. North is down and East is to the left. Coordinates came from Phil's photometry unless otherwise noted.

Observed or Researched

Row Coloring. In the tables below, a green row = observed and found to be a new WR winner, a yellow row = observed and found to be a new Of, a red row = observed and found to not be a WR star, an orange row = strange, and a grey row = not observed but based on Brian's literature search, this is not a WR star. If we're still bored at the end of this project, maybe we could "check" these stars.
